Crafting simplicity with Perlina: Launch event

Something new is brewing! Over the past few months, Vioside has been collaborating with Perlina TV to bring a new video streaming platform to the Maltese islands. Perlina TV’s mission is to offer entertaining and educational content for kids, all in the Maltese language. The goal of this project is to provide engaging material that children can enjoy while learning and becoming more familiar with the Maltese language. This initiative aims to address a local concern: the decline in the popularity and fluency of the Maltese language among children. The platform will feature a variety of video content, including cartoons, puppet shows, and animations.

While the founders of Perlina TV, Sharp Shoot Media Ltd, are working with several artists to create content, Vioside is focused on developing the platform’s technical aspects. Last month, we had the pleasure of joining the team at the launch event for the Perlina TV brand. The event was also supported by Ċentru tal-Ilsien Malti and Kunsill Malti għall-Arti, who are backing this initiative.
