A message from Vioside amid COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has stirred a number of changes and uncertainties on the stability on our daily lives. The No. 1 priority is to take care of every one's health, and to do this, we would require to make changes in the way we operate as businesses. Such changes may require that employees would start to work remotely at home and some might also have to re-think and shift to an online business or presence.

At Vioside, we are all working from home and things are still running as they normally would. Mobile app development is still going strong and deliverables are being met as promised. We set up meetings daily using platforms such as Slack, FaceTime, iMessage etc to keep each and everyone up to speed with which tasks are being performed and how things are going. We also use project management tools such as Trello to collaborate and keep track of everything. If you plan on doing the same, just make sure that you keep your software up-to-date and your network secure. Use VPN clients when necessary, make sure that you do not have outdated devices connected to your network, and avoid opening suspicious emails and attachments. Stay safe online as well.

This change however might not be so straight forward to all businesses and may require a major change. We urge businesses to try and adapt to an online presence as much as possible. We can help you there. Our speciality is in the development of such systems including the development of mobile apps. We have developed apps such as the Dr Juice app to start taking orders online while adopting a loyalty system. We have also developed blog-related apps as well as reward-systems. So if you need some guidance on what your business can do to adapt to this digital shift, feel free to contact us so that we can discuss.

In the meantime, we urge you to stay inside, stay safe and stay healthy. Check in with your family and friends, eat healthy, exercise and drink plenty of water. We can also recommend a number of apps to help you do so.
